Sweetser’s 15th Annual Sold on Kids Benefit Auction & Dinner, presented by KeyBank, took place on March 17 at the Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks.
Featuring live and silent auctions, dinner, raffles and entertainment, the event raised nearly $95,000 to benefit Sweetser’s statewide crisis services.
The theme for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day event was “Bringing Good Luck and Laughter,” with Lee Goldberg from WCSH6 serving as the master of ceremonies. William Zafirson, chair of Sweetser’s Board of Directors, returned as auctioneer, and Carol Thorne, Sweetser board member, served as chair.
