Laurel Bailey Receives Patriot Award
Posted on 01/30/2013 at 01:16 pm
Congratulations to Laurel Bailey, Sweetser's Supervisor of the Brunswick Crisis Stabilization Unit, who was recently presented with the Patriot Award. Laurel was nominated for the award by Alley Smith (in uniform), for her incredible support of Alley and understanding of the nature of working veterans and reservists. The Patriot Award is given by the Department of Defense agency Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve in recognition of supervisors for their support of employees in the National Guard or Reserve. The award reflects the efforts made to support Citizen Warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families and granting leaves of absence if needed.
