Psychological Testing Begins May 18 in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, ME. -- Kirsten W. Milliken, Ph.D., a Licensed Psychologist, of Portland, will provide outpatient psychological testing services starting Monday, May 18, at Sweetser’s Brunswick office at 329 Bath Road.

“Kirsten will be joining the diverse team of licensed social workers, professional counselors and licensed psychiatric nurse practitioners to advance and enhance traditional treatment planning,” said Sweetser Outpatient Services Director and Licensed Psychologist, Ronald Young.

Dr. Milliken will be providing psychological assessments for both children and adults. Children must be at least six years of age to be eligible for services. Psychological testing requires pre-authorization by most private insurance companies. Referrals for testing services are coordinated through the Sweetser PromiseLine at 1.800.434.3000.

Dr. Milliken earned her doctorate degree in 1996, in clinical psychology, at the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno. She has worked as a licensed psychologist in Maine for more than 10 years and has extensive experience with community mental health programs in both public school and private practice settings.
