Sweetser is pleased to announce two new additions to its staff, Celeste Viger as director of public policy and Maryann Donahue as grant writer.

In her new role as director of public policy, Viger is responsible for identifying and evaluating proposed state and federal legislation and its impact on children, adults and families in Maine and developing and executing a government affairs program for the organization.
A resident of Portland, Viger serves on the board of the Maine Philanthropy Center and Maine Reads as well as the alumni board of St. Michael's College.
Maryann Donahue has worked as the director of development for the YWCA of Tulsa, OK, and most recently as a development consultant to the New England Regional Council of the YWCA. In her role as grant writer for Sweetser, Donahue will research, write and manage all of the organization's state, federal and private foundation grant proposals. Donahue resides in Portland.
