Sweetser Belfast School Plans Community Fair June 27

Belfast, ME -- The Sweetser School in Belfast will host a “Community Fair” Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to raise funds to purchase playground equipment for students and local children.
The Fair, which will be held at the Sweetser School, 9 School Street, will include a car wash, a hot dog stand, craft fair, baked goods, yard sale, children’s face painting and a blood drive, sponsored by the Maine Blood Center.
The Sweetser School offers a day treatment program for children ages 5-20 to help them overcome behavioral and learning impairments. The school includes special education services and comprehensive family, individual and group therapy.
Sweetser students also volunteer in many local community service projects.
