Newly elected Sweetser Board members, Dr. Margaret Shepp of Portland, Dr. Robert Lobis of Bath, and William Zafirson of Saco were confirmed at the annual meeting of the Sweetser Board of Directors and Corporators.
Margaret Shepp, MD, spent 31 years practicing internal medicine in Portland. Now semi-retired, she teaches and works for Mercy Hospital providing assessments of surgical risks.
Robert Lobis, Psy.D., served the field of psychiatry for over 40 years, with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry, and has also served as an instructor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lobis is now retired and enjoys painting and writing.
William Zafirson is the Managing Director of Mortgage Banking at The Bank of Maine. Zafirson is returning to Sweetser's Board after a year-long hiatus, and has served as auctioneer at a number of non-profit events, including Sweetser's Annual Sold on Kids Benefit.
