Posted on 01/05/2007 at 12:00 am
Students from The School at Sweetser in Saco are once again working with My Wonderful Dog, an organization in Portland that trains service dogs for people with disabilities. Groups of middle school and high school students from Sweetser help train the dogs once a week.
“Sweetser students have participated in this program for more than four years, and watching them grow within it has been amazing,” says Rachel Corriveau, educational technician for Sweetser.
