Donna Mrowka, our PromiseLine Services Director and veteran clinician, will represent Sweetser when she takes her seat on the 20-member APS Healthcare Advisory Council meeting later this month in Augusta. Member terms are determined by lottery -- between 12 and 18 months, according to Kelly H. Bickmore, LCSW, manager for public relations at the Maine Affiliate, Administrative Services Organization (ASO) in South Portland.
"Our sincerest thanks for your willingness to be part of the APS Healthcare provider Advisory Council," said Bickmore. "There were a great number of requests for membership, in fact, almost twice as many as we can accommodate at this time. We are honored to have you as partner in this important venture."
APS provides specialty healthcare solutions nationwide for more than 20 million members across two product lines - care management and behavioral health services. Future quarterly council meetings will be held in South Portland, Bangor and Houlton.
Mrowka, a Freeport resident and licensed certified social worker, worked for Ingraham as clinical director after a ten-year tenure at Sweetser.
