Same-Day Access

Comprehensive mental health care is available for people experiencing or coping with a mental illness or substance abuse addiction through Sweetser’s Same-Day Access. This service provides those seeking assistance with rapid access to a wide variety of behavioral health and substance abuse services. In most cases, a behavioral health professional will provide new clients with a same-day assessment to quickly match them with services and assistance needed.

Sweetser services are available for clients of all ages. Same-Day Access provides clients immediate assistance and support with understanding, compassion and complete confidentiality, and clients will leave their assessment with a clear picture of how their treatment will continue at Sweetser.

To take advantage of Same-Day Access, contact the Sweetser Promise Line at 1-800-434-3000 and answer a few brief screening questions, OR come to one of our locations.

Walk-in clients for Same-Day Access can be served at any of Sweetser’s locations, open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including Bangor, Belfast, Brunswick, Lewiston, Rockland, Saco, and Sanford.
