A vigil will be held at the State House in Augusta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24. The event has been organized by Maine Can Do Better - a coalition of agencies throughout the state who work to strengthen our public structures, including public health and safety.
The vigil will take less than an hour, and will precede the governor's State of the State address. If you would like to attend, meet in the area between the State House and the Cross Office Building. Candles will be provided, but in the event of inclement weather bring a flashlight.
