BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COMMUNITY COLLABORATIVE (BHCC)
Strengthening Community Mental Health for Consumers
In 2007, Sweetser was a founding member of the Behavioral Health Community Collaborative, which has advocated since that time to strengthen the community mental health system on behalf of our consumers.
The Collaborative raises awareness and advocates for quality mental health care for all Maine citizens. In addition to Sweetser, the other collaborating agencies are: KidsPeace, The Opportunity Alliance, Oxford Mental Health, Shalom House and Spurwink. The Collaborative, along with our lobbyists at Moose Ridge Associates, works with other stakeholders who are also passionate about providing a quality mental health care system for children, adults and families in the state of Maine.
