Experiential Learning Students Featured on 207 Show

Students in the Experiential Learning program at the Eslie J. Parquette School at Sweetser were featured in a  broadcast of the “207” news magazine show on WCSH TV6. Ricker Farm Manager Julia Birtolo was interviewed along with three of her students as they tapped trees for maple syrup on the Saco campus. The show also noted that the Experiential Learning program includes woodworking technology, automotive maintenance and repair, gardening and culinary arts -- hands-on learning for students who have difficulty in a more traditional setting.
