Anxiety in Schools: Collaboration and Treatment

This training will cover the broad issue of children and adolescents with anxiety symptoms in schools. We will discuss how the school setting can exacerbate anxiety symptoms, how some dynamics create anxiety, and how parents and school staff can develop strategies to mitigate the effects. We will cover family dynamics in relation to school with a focus on anxiety. We will also review strategies to address school avoidance/refusal situations.
