Join us Thursday, May 7th and step into style for a cause at Channel 8 Spring Into Hope, a high-energy benefit fashion show supporting Sweetser and mental health awareness in Maine. Enjoy bold runway looks, inspiring stories, chef-curated hors d’oeuvres, sweet treat takeaways, and photo-worthy moments – all while helping expand access to critical mental health services and eliminating the stigma.
Hosted by Channel 8, Meghan Torjussen and Jon Chrisos for a glamorous night of Fashion, Purpose, and Impact, supported by our friends at PeoplesChoice Credit Union and Mercedes Benz of Scarborough.

Beach Bum Monday’s in May with Aroma Joe’s
This May, Aroma Joe’s is partnering with Sweetser to support mental health and recovery services in our communities. On each Monday in May, all proceeds from the “Beach Bum” drink at participating locations will be donated to Sweetser, helping fund critical programs for those in need. It’s a simple way to make a meaningful impact – while also taking a moment to recharge. Participating locations include select stores in Saco.

May Brickyard Hollow Fundraisers
Join us at Brickyard Hollow at their Yarmouth, Brunswick, Skowhegan and Portland locations for select dates and times throughout May for tasty fundraisers in support of Sweetser’s mission. In addition to the community nights, Brickyard Hollow has named Sweetser the recipient of the Pizza with Potential fundraiser. Throughout the month of May at any Brickyard Hollow location a portion of all proceeds from the sale of the Spring Special Pizza will go directly back to Sweetser. The special pizza is the taco pizza—taco sauce, ground beef, tomato, red onion, sour cream, and melty cheese, topped with crisp lettuce and crushed tortilla chips.

Direct From Nashville: Songwriters in the Round
Join us for an intimate evening of music and storytelling featuring Plumb, Luke Sheets, and Lacy Green–songwriters performing acoustic sets in the round. The artists will share the stories behind their songs, perform solo and together, and create a relaxed, up-close “living room” atmosphere. A portion of proceeds will benefit Sweetser in support of mental health awareness!

Join Mindy’s Munchies on May 19th for an evening dedicated to the art of wine pairing. Enjoy a thoughtfully curated selection of sweet and savory bites while exploring how to create balance and harmony between food and wine. Guests will gain practical insight into pairing techniques that elevate everyday cooking, tasting, and entertaining. Proceeds from the evening will benefit mental health initiatives and support Sweetser.
