Description

This workshop provides practitioners with a foundational understanding of problematic sexualized behaviors (PSB) in children and adolescents and explores evidence-informed approaches for assessment, intervention, and support. Participants will examine the developmental, environmental, trauma-related, and behavioral factors that may contribute to PSB, while learning to distinguish age-appropriate sexual behaviors from behaviors that require further attention.

Participants will increase their knowledge of best practices with youth with PSB, develop strategies to intervene in the moment with PSB, and learn how to support families of youth with PSB.
