Ethical Dilemma’s in dialogue regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

This workshop will challenge you to reflect on the concepts of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and how they inform the ethical decisions you make in the course of treatment.  We will explore DEI’s impact on our: interactions with others; personal growth; biases; and expressing yourself for the sake of yourself or others.  Bring your examples and/or dilemmas to an open dialogue of how we can all continue to learn and grow in regards to DEI.

For all in-person attendees:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and out an abundance of caution for the health and wellbeing of you, our colleagues around the state, the following precautions are being required:

  1. Face coverings must be worn by each attendee for the duration of the workshop; regardless of vaccination status.
  2. Seating will be at a reduced capacity in an effort to maintain a minimum of 6 foot distance. When arriving at, leaving, and moving about the training location, please attempt to maintain a social distance.
  3. Each attendee will have a complete and individual set of handouts, worksheets, and/or supplies provided at their seat.
  4. Sweetser staff will sanitize each table and chair before and after your workshop. Additionally, hand sanitizer will be available for attendees throughout the training.
