Our Team of Peers

David Cameron-Rosenfield, Peer Center Manager
“The best way I have found to heal myself is through helping others, because seeing the good in them helps me find it in myself. I’ve made this a center point of both my personal and professional life. I went into peer support because I wanted to become the sort of person that I’d needed. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I know what it’s like to feel unseen, unsafe, and unheard. And as someone with a history of complex trauma, addiction, and my own struggles, I know how heavy life can feel and how lonely those burdens can seem. My goal is to help people realize they’re not alone. To create a space where people can connect without judgment and give themselves the compassion they deserve.”
Kacie Huber, Intentional Peer Support Specialist
“My name is Kacie, and mental health has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up autistic came with a lot of challenges—and with them, a lot of anxiety. For a long time, I felt completely alone in the world. It wasn’t until I began meeting people with similar experiences that I realized I wasn’t alone after all. That discovery is what led me to peer support: to connect with others who share this journey and to remind them that they don’t have to go through it alone.”
