Timothy True, LCSW, graduated from Boston University with a master's in social work and a concentration in clinical practice, individual and group therapy. For over 30 years he has provided treatment for children and teens as a clinician. In his role as Program Director, he supervised a team of social workers, case managers and residential staff. He then worked at an agency with adults and seniors in a residential program. Tim primarily sees clients, over 55, in-home as they are unable to leave their home.

I provide in person and telehealth counseling services in Bangor Maine for adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, stress, relationship issues, and work-related issues. I work with individuals and couples and have a passion for helping medical professionals and first responders, men and male identifying folks, and the LGBTQ+ community.
I use and integrated approach that combines CBT, ACT, DBT, narrative therapy, and behavioral therapy.
