  • Teresa L. King, LCPC

    Teresa earned a Bachelors in Social Work, and Masters in Counseling at Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa Oklahoma. After graduating, Teresa returned to the coast of Maine and took a position as a Children’s Services Caseworker, for the State of Maine Department of Human Services in Ellsworth, Maine. While there, she earned her clinical counseling license. After leaving the Department of Human Services, Teresa worked at Crossroads Christian Counseling Center in Bangor Maine. In 1996 she opened her private practice in Northeast Harbor, Maine.

    Additionally, Teresa was given the opportunity to join the clinical staff at Acadia Family Center, in Southwest Harbor Maine, in 2016. Teresa continues providing counseling services at both locations.

  • Wanda Anderson, LCSW 

    Wanda is a native of Northern Maine. She has been a faculty member at the University of New England, MSW Program since 2003. Her area of interests include: working with children and families, sexual abuse issues, special needs children, case management, working with adult survivors, poverty issues and strength-based services.

    Wilma Wake is an Affiliate with Sweetser working with autistic children, adults, and families and co-author of an upcoming book on spectrum adults over 50.
