Karen Bate is the Director of Housing & Special Projects at Sweetser. She comes to Sweetser with almost 30 years of experience in the mental health field. Previously, she was the Executive Director for Common Ties Mental Health Services.
Karen has extensive experience in leadership, employee retention, program stabilization, and a wide range of executive management. She is excited for the opportunity to bring her skill set to Sweetser.
She graduated with honors from the University of Maine with a BS degree in Mental Health and Human Services. She also has her Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician Certification.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping, being outdoors, and her new grandson.
