Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

The Adverse Childhood Experiences Study is a research study conducted by Kaiser Permanente and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Participants were recruited to the study between 1995 and 1997 and have been in long-term follow-up for health outcomes. The study has demonstrated an association of adverse childhood experiences with health and social problems as an adult.

This training addresses the results of the study, as well as how we can prevent some of these stressors in our communities.

This 4-hour training is held virtually.
